ハワイの観光情報誌「aloha-street」のホエールウオッチング特集の挿絵を編集部からのご依頼で描きました。
編集部から送られてきたクジラの写真を基に、
①写真に基づきスーパーリアルに描く
②親しみやすく少しデフォルメしてコミカルに描く
③自分の得意なパステル画で色も写真にこだわらず海をイメージして表現するの3点を見本として送り、③を選んでいただきました。
I was asked by the editorial staff to draw illustrations for the whale watching feature in “aloha-street.”
Based on a photo of a whale sent to me by the editorial staff, I sent them three examples:
1) A super-realistic drawing based on the photo
2) A friendly, slightly deformed, comical drawing
3) A pastel drawing, my forte, that expressed the image of the ocean without being too tied to the photo in terms of color, and they chose 3.

東京會舘グルメ会の際、食材説明展示用に描いた絵。鯛のいろいろな種類をわかりやすく見せたいというご要望にお応えできました。
This is a picture I created for an explanation display of ingredients at the Tokyo Kaikan Gourmet Event. I was able to meet the request to show the various types of sea bream in an easy-to-understand way.
